STRUCTURE & WORKING PRINCIPLE OF IMPACT CRUSHER

The Impact Crusher consists of a main frame, rotor, front blow bar, and back blow bar. The motor drives the rotor through a V-belt at high speed. Materials fed into the crushing chamber are struck by the flat hammers on the rotating rotor and crushed by high-speed impact. The crushed material is then thrown against the impact liner and impact plate, where it undergoes further repeated crushing until it reaches the required output particle size.

The discharge size can be controlled in several ways: by adjusting the rotor speed, by adjusting the clearance between the impact plate and the grinding chamber, or by adjusting the grate clearance between the hammer and the impact plate. A larger grate clearance produces a coarser output, while a smaller clearance produces a finer output. This flexibility makes the Impact Crusher suitable for both secondary crushing and product shaping applications.
